Involve all stakeholders in the development of public spaces

Placemaking

BFAS+ is involved in urban development within the disciplines of architecture, placemaking and urban planning. As an agency, they bring various parties together, from investors to resident and from municipalities to initiators. This often takes place in group sessions in which the expertises of the various parties are combined, with the aim of developing buildings, locations and cities into pleasant, sustainable living, living and working environments.

Challenge:
Collecting ideas for the design of public spaces

Method:
During a physical meeting, among other things, create mood boards Corona proof via QANDR.

Number of participants:
Session with 20 and 60 participants

Obviously, collecting the data digitally makes analysis much easier. QANDR has certainly helped us in every possible positive way. We look forward to our further sessions and improving our knowledge with QANDR each time.

BFAS+ used QANDR during one of their placemaking games, this time focusing on the Buikslotermeerplein in Amsterdam Noord. QANDR was used to engage the public and gather ideas that were combined with physical forms.

Both municipalities and consulting firms use QANDR to engage citizens and experts in spatial planning challenges. Read more about this on our page about citizen participation.
